Real talk for my agents and anyone needing a mindset reset…

This morning I grabbed a stack of books from my house. ONEs that have shaped my mindset, moved the needle in my business, or simply reminded me of my own potential. The truth is: you don’t know what you don’t know. That’s why we read. That’s why we grow. That’s why I’m sharing these!

Here are some of the books I’ve read, reread, and recommended over the years:

  1. Agent Rise by Neil Mathweg

I’ve been a fan of Neil for all 9 years I’ve been in this business. I told him once, “OMG what I could’ve done if I read this from day one.” This book is all about helping agents stop overthinking and start executing with clarity without burning out. If you’ve ever felt stuck in analysis paralysis, start here.

  1. How to Sell 100 Homes a Year by Krista Mashore

I read this in 2018… and the next year, I sold 140+ homes. I didn’t even follow everything in it, but the systems are detailed and effective. If you want structure, volume, and real strategies that work, this is your playbook.

  1. Living with a SEAL by Jesse Itzler

Okay, this one isn’t about real estate. It’s about discipline. It’s funny, fast-paced, and incredibly insightful. You’ll walk away realizing: you can do so much more than you think you can. Mental toughness is not a talent; it’s a decision. And when you show yourself that you can be trusted to follow through, that’s when confidence kicks in.

  1. This is Marketing by Seth Godin

If you’ve ever said, “I’m just not good at marketing”, start here. Seth Godin is the king of modern marketing, and this book breaks it down in a way that’s powerful and clear. You don’t need to be flashy or loud to market well… but you do need to understand how people think.

  1. We Should All Be Millionaires by Rachel Rodgers

One of my absolute favorites. I read it twice and listened to the audiobook three times. This book gave me permission to own my ambition and love money without guilt. If you're a woman in business, you must read this. It’ll shift how you think about wealth, earning power, and unapologetically taking up space.

  1. Be Obsessed or Be Average by Grant Cardone

There’s no fluff here. Every single thing you need to succeed is already out there. No matter your industry. If you’re tired of playing small, read this. You’ll remember that being obsessed isn’t crazy. It’s necessary.

  1. Ninja Selling

If you’re looking for a more relational, systemized approach to real estate and one that focuses on service over sales, this is gold. It’s not about being pushy. It’s about creating connection and value so consistently that your business grows by design, not by accident.

Now I want to hear from you! What are YOU reading or listening to right now that’s shifting your mindset, helping your business, or just lighting a fire under you? Drop it in the comments! I’m always looking for new recommendations and would love to see what’s on your list!
