“I Am Destin” feature in VIP Destin Magazine | September 2025 Issue

What a nice surprise to wake up to! 🩷 The “I Am Destin” feature in VIP Destin Magazine has long been a dream of mine. Much like building a good credit score, it’s not something you can buy - you have to put in the work and it takes time.

Many people think because we are (were) military that we are transplants. Girl - I was born at Sacred Heart in Pensacola! Can’t get more native than that! But Destin has been my chosen community for years even before Matt retired. Family trips, kids birthday parties, vacations, all Destin. Once while Matt was deployed I drove 9 hours from Little Rock to stay one night and go right back the very next day. With 3 kids in tow!

I’m proud of my tribe here. I’m so grateful for the strong business community that supports us. And I am so proud to tell you that I am, in fact, Destin! ⛵
